This is a statement necklace inspired by our need to find our calm in the crazy. It's a reminder that breath and detachment are right there to get us through.
The stamped letters spell the word equanimity. They're scattered chaotically on a distressed background, to represent an often chaotic life. The offset raised hole in the center represents rising to meet what comes our way, and the hole is a reminder to breathe. The 14k gold ball sits at the edge, representing detachment, because sometimes that’s what it takes to find equanimity.
I have two versions of this necklace. This one is on a chain long enough to slip over your head and it hangs 27 or 28 inches.
The piece itself is almost a couple inches wide.
